Required Information in Order to Investigate Bugs / Glitches / System Errors

Overview

In order to investigate potential bugs, glitches, or system errors involving Synexic Web Hosting, Developed Products, Web Based Applications, or anything that is run off of our infrastructure, we must have specific information in order to not only isolate any potential root cause, but also pinpoint where in the system, application, or server component or process that could be causing the error. Below, you will find the information we will need in order to open an investigation. If any of this information is not provided, the ticket will be sent back until the information is obtained, unless we deem it is not applicable to the report.

Required Information

Affected Application / Software / System:

At what specific date and time did the incident occur?

What Operating System were either you, or the end user, running?

If the affected application or software is accessed via an Internet Browser, what internet browser were either you, or the end user, using?
 
If you are using WordPress, have you confirmed your WordPress version, theme, and all plugins have been updated? This must first be done to rule this out as a cause.

If reported by an end user and not by yourself, were you able to replicate the issue following the exact steps they took?
Attempting to replicate the issue is a requirement if it the problem was experienced by an end user and not by yourself.
